ZZap is collaborating with the City of Fredericton on the Southeast New Neighbourhood Secondary Plan—a visionary project set to accommodate approximately 7,000 new residents in a mixed-use community south of Doak Road and Alison Boulevard. This initiative responds to the city's significant population growth, which saw over 3,000 new residents last year, tripling initial projections. Our planning focuses on extending essential infrastructure—water, sanitary, storm systems, roads, sidewalks, and trails—to create a vibrant, well-connected neighbourhood. By unlocking nearly 200 hectares of primarily undeveloped land, the plan aims to alleviate development pressure on Fredericton's southside and ensure a balanced, sustainable expansion that honors the city's Growth Strategy.
